Initially there were produced humidity sensors and hygrostats.
With the increase of the sales market in the 1980s new workshops were built.
MELA. The MELA Sensortechnik GmbH company was founded in 1991 in Germany.
This company has started with the development, production and sale of sensors of humidity with capacitive sensitive elements.
In 1999 the Galltec company became the main holder of the shares of the MELA. Thus, two companies at merge perfectly added each other. All stages - from design development, production of thermo and hydro-sensitive elements and sensors (capacitive and Polyga) before assembly of sensors concentrated in one place now.
In 2005 the company received certificates of DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
